Italia va a celebrar el 17 de marzo el 150 aniversario de su unificación. Para la gente que esté de visita en Florencia, esta ciudad lo va a celebrar el día 16 y 17 de marzo dejando que la gente pueda visitar los museos estatales y municipales de manera gratuita hasta la 1 a.m. También se creará la “via del Tricolore”, que es un camino a través de Borgo degli Albizi y via del Corso hasta la Piazza della Repubblica, donde todo estará decorado de blanco, rojo y verde. La celebración comenzará a las 7 p.m. el 16 de marzo con eventos en tres de sus más importantes plazas. En Piazza Santa Croce habrá música y representaciones teatrales dedicadas a la lengua italiana; en la Piazza Duomo habrá gazebos con artesanías; y en la Piazza della Signoria habrá un escenario con celebraciones dedicadas al arte. Para finalizar, a medianoche, el alcalde Matteo Renzi levantará sobre el techo del nuevo teatro musical “Maggio” la bandera dada por el Presidente de la República, Giorgio Napolitano.

Italy is going to celebrate on March 17th the 150th anniversary of its unification. For the people that is visiting Florence, this city will celebrate this on March 16th and 17th letting that people can visit the museums until 1 a.m. and free. Also there will be created the “via del Tricolore”, that is a path from Borgo degli Albizi and via del Corso until Piazza della Reppublica, where everything will be decorated with white, red and green. The celebration will start on March 16th at 7 p.m. with some events at 3 of its most importants squares. In Piazza Santa Croce there will be music and theatrical performances dedicated to the italian language; in Piazza Duomo there will be gazebos with crafts; and in Piazza della Signoria will be a stage with celebrations dedicated to art. At midnight, the mayor Matteo Renzi will raise over the roof of the new musical theater “Maggio” the flag given by the President of the Republic, Giorgio Napolitano.
